Leadership

Ritu Rao is the President and founder of Maxil Associates. She has a
successful track record in the IT industry spanning two decades and
has held management positions in firms such as AT&T, Keane, Lucent
and CareGain.
Ritu began her career at Bell Laboratories and had the opportunity to
work in a variety of IT roles as a consultant before assuming a
permanent position with AT&T. Her leadership and results-focused
approach led to management positions within Lucent Technologies
where she worked on emerging e-commerce and Web Services
applications on both Windows and UNIX platforms Subsequently Ritu
joined CareGain ( Health care IT services company, acquired by
Fiserv) where she was leading the effort for product definition and
customer requirements and worked closely with the Vice President of
Product Management and CEO of the company. During her career Ritu
has assisted in hiring for a variety of contract and permanent positions
in both small companies and Fortune 500 corporations.
Ritu received a MS in Computer Science and a MS in Operations
Research from Florida Institute of Technology. She is a Microsoft
certified Systems Specialist, member of Women’s Business Forum of
Illinois and a member of IEEE society.
